PERFORMER
Bob Denson is a life long musician and educator whose talent is in demand across New Jersey. With over 10 years in the local music scene Bob has performed at some of the areas most known venues such as the Stone Pony and the Saint in Asbury Park to bars and cafes all across the state even being nominated for the Asbury Park Music Awards Acoustic Artist of the Year award two years running. Always providing a high energy show and engaging the audience in various forms of participation, Bob connects with the crowd with witty banter and memorable songs. Whether it is a solo jazz guitar act, acoustic guitarist/vocalist, to a full band playing anything from rock, blues, jazz, country, or bluegrass, Bob Denson will deliver a well polished product every night.
EDUCATOR
As an educator, Bob has taught hundreds of satisfied students of all ages from many miles around. Teaching privately and at various studios over the years, Bob continues to give lessons on the guitar, bass, piano, and ukulele nearly every day of the week. Furthermore, Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Music Education from Montclair State University in NJ, is a Certified Teacher of Music (K-12) in New Jersey Public Schools, and holds a substitute teaching license in Middlesex County, NJ. With these credentials Bob has taught at nearly every public school in East Brunswick along with being the General Music Teacher at a Catholic School in Scotch Plains for several months, along with month long maternity leave positions in both East Brunswick and Maplewood-South Orange school districts.
