BOB DENSON'S GREENS

Bob Denson's Greens was born of Bob's love of Irish folk music and his relationship with his Irish heritage. Available as a single with Bob on guitar and vocals, add Angelo Mancuso (AKA Paddy O'Cuso) on upright bass for a duo, and include a range of other Irish instruments like penny whistles, fiddles, banjos, and the like for a trio or more. The group can perform as an intensely powerful Irish punk band or more traditionally in an acoustic setting. Feel free to listen to a short sampler of each version of the act on this page. Every year he finds himself playing it somewhere around St. Patrick's Day, whether it be New York Public Libraries, the Blackwells Mills Canal House, pubs/bars, assisted living facilities in NJ and PA, or others. Throughout the year he continues to perform this classic music mostly at New York Public Libraries in various boroughs of the city.
