Frequently Asked Questions

  • Cancellation Policy - 24 hours notice is required for a lesson to be cancelled or rescheduled. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice given are subject to being charged full price. Please call, text, or email with as much notice as possible. 
    - A requirement of weekly lessons is that any lesson that is missed is made-up in the immediate future. For example, assuming the student gave enough notice to not be charged as a ‘no-show’, that lesson would be made-up by doing two 1.5 hour lessons for the next two weeks or doing two 1 hour lessons in a week.
  • Payment - Debit/Credit card preferred (protected through Stripe) and PayPal available. Payment for the whole month is due before the first lesson of each month. All payments listed in $USD and converted at time of transaction processing. Click to pay here.
  • Pricing - $70 per hour or $40 per half hour. Preferably, lessons are at the same time each week, but exceptions can be made so long as the lessons remain weekly.
  • Discounts - Refer a friend for lessons, buy weekly lessons in bulk (12 lessons), and/or sign up multiple students from the same household.
  • What happens if you start lessons mid-month? Pay the balance for the rest of that calendar month by selecting the appropriate amount of lessons on the pay page, then pay for the whole month before the first lesson of each calendar month thereafter.
  • Other instruments? - BD Music Lessons also offers lessons on bass, piano/keyboards, ukulele on a case-by-case basis.
